LuxeHome Celebrates Its 12th Annual CHILL on Nov. 8

Dynamic Epicurean Event Brings Together the Best in Food, Wine and Design for a Good Cause

 

 

 

It is almost that time again for the LuxeHome Chill event!  That is right it is less than two weeks away!  This event brings the very best in Chicago food, drink and design!  Not familiar?  Check out my re-cap from last year’s event by clicking  HERE for all the details keep on reading below!

CHICAGO – 2018 – LuxeHome is honored to present CHILL, an International Wine & Culinary Event on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018. The gourmet celebration, in cooperation with Wine Spectator Magazine, will take place within the ambiance of LuxeHome, the world’s largest collection of premier boutiques, on the first
floor of theMART and will support three Chicago-area charities.

The state-of-the-art LuxeHome boutiques and showrooms will transform into a gastronomic paradise, where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy bites from more than 50 leading restaurants, sip spirits and wines from more than 40 makers, as well as enjoy musical entertainment and theatrical performances from local talent. Proceeds from the event will benefit three inspiring, local charities: The Lynn Sage Foundation, the Respiratory Health Association and Saturday Place. Since its inception, CHILL has raised more than $1.6 million to support its charitable partners, with last year’s event raising more than $250,000. CHILL 2018 will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at theMART (222 W Merchandise Mart Plaza). Advance tickets available to purchase,  HERE ($125). After Nov. 1, ticket price will increase to $145.

THE LYNN SAGE FOUNDATION is dedicated to funding innovative research to eradicate breast cancer. The Foundation was established by Laura and Halee Sage in honor of their mother, Lynn, who died from breast cancer at the young age of 39. The Foundation raises money to support the Lynn Sage Scholars, promising young doctors investigating novel research early in their careers. A non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization supporting doctors at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Rush University Medical Center, The Foundation focuses its seed funding where it can have the greatest impact. SATURDAY PLACE is an enrichment program for 3rd and 4th grade Chicago Public School students who are performing at least one year below grade level and live in under-resourced communities. Since its beginning, Saturday Place students demonstrate growth in Math (99 percentile) and Reading (60 percentile) during their two years in the program. Saturday Place is an effective program that enables students to excel academically, develop a love for learning and inspires them to be future college graduates.
