Last night I had the pleasure of attending the 11th Annual LuxeHome CHILL International Wine and Culinary Event! Who does not love walking the halls of the timeless and historic Merchandise Mart? That is right the event is hosted among the inspiring ambiance of the world’s largest collection of premier boutiques for home building and renovation on the first floor of theMart in downtown Chicago! Toss in Over 50 top chefs, 150 premium wines, 3 great charities this all equals a FABULOUS evening!
Did you know that a large portion of ticket proceeds from CHILL benefit three wonderful Chicago area charitable organizations – The Lynn Sage Foundation, Saturday Place and the Respiratory Health Association. Since its inception in 2007, CHILL has raised nearly 1 million dollars to support Chicago area charitable organizations. Check out a bit more information about the different charities and some pictures of the AMAZING dishes we noshed on at this awesome event! Cheers!
THE LYNN SAGE FOUNDATION is dedicated to funding innovative research to eradicate breast cancer. The Foundation raises money to support the Lynn Sage Scholars, promising young doctors investigating novel research early in their careers. A non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization supporting doctors at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Rush University Medical Center, The Foundation focuses its seed funding where it can have the greatest impact. The Lynn Sage Foundation has raised over $2,500,000 for breast cancer research in Chicago. For more information, visit lynnsagefoundation.org.
