First Look for Charity is the premiere gala event of the winter and what makes it even more special is that over the last 28 years the black tie event has helped raise more than $50 million for 18 different local charities. . I have been to the event in the past and have truly enjoyed it! See below for a few pics from previous years.

Last Friday, January 11th I attended the preview event. It was held at the Chicago downtown McGrath Acura dealership. There were a variety of people in attendance, from reporters, publishers, bloggers and social media influencers. All gathered to sample scrumptious bites from a handful of highly-acclaimed, Chicago-based chefs as well as hear from the
Chicago Automobile Trade Association as to what we should expect from this years auto show.
Make sure you come hungry. Guests will be wined and dined on the show floor by 20 of Chicago’s top restaurants and catering companies. One of my favorite things about this event it that you get an opportunity to check out the auto show before the public does and you get to get all dolled up and taste some amazing food and drinks! 2019 First Look for Charity by the numbers
There will be 60,000 bites, featuring 30 menu items spanning international concepts at 50 food stations!
There will be 140 chefs & 400 banquet staff assisting at First Look for Charity
Nearly 1,000 vehicles will be on display
Four (4) indoor interactive test tracks including Jeep, Kia, Land Rover and Ram Trucks
First Look for Charity has raised more than $50 million for 18 local charities since its inception in ‘92!
It takes 515 gallons of wine to supply First Look for Charity – that’s 220 cases of wine!
Two (2) vehicles will be given away: a 2019 Chevy Blazer and a 2019 Jeep Compass
