Chicago Tribune FOOD BOWL announces their programming lineup and event partners!!

July 27, 2018

Chicago Tribune’s Food Bowl is right around the corner!!

The festival (Aug. 8-26) kicks off with a launch party sure to shut down all other launch parties, with bites from Gibson’s Italia, Dos Urban Cantina, Tempesta Market and Pretty Cool Ice Cream, and drinks from Beam Suntory, Jackson Family Wines and Ballast Point. And that’s just the start!

Featured events include arriving in Chinatown via boat to try food from nearly a dozen restaurants, a restaurant summit discussing the state of restaurant criticism with Phil Vettel, and Comida de Mi Abuela — a dinner with four chefs from Mi Tocaya Antojeria, Birrieria Zaragoza, Anomar and Loba Pastry who will talk about the evolution of Mexican cuisine and drawing inspiration from their heritage.

There will be parties that you don’t want to miss, like the Korean BBQ Block Party, Frontier’s meat-centric celebration Beast Feast, and the three-night outdoor Night Market on the lakeshore with more than 25 food vendors, live entertainment and bars. And the Chicago Tribune partnered with Stan’s Donuts to create a special red velvet cake doughnut with cream cheese frosting and Oreo crumble, available throughout Food Bowl, with proceeds benefiting the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Below I have added a few events below that peaked my interest but there are TONS of other events taking place so click  HERE to get ALL THE DETAILS as well as purchase tickets!
